Creating t-shirts with inkjets

It’s not as expensive or hard as you may think, and it doesn’t even require going to a store and having them do it for you. All you need is a t-shirt to get started with and a desktop inkjet printer. You can go to any department store and find inexpensive packages of t-shirts. They’re available in a variety of colors and sizes so that you can fit the needs of everyone in the group you’re making shirts for. Once you’ve gotten your shirts, don’t hesitate to buy a few extra to practice on first just in case you mess up when printing.
Printing on t-shirts includes an inkjet iron-on ink process. Get the proper software and programs that allow you to design logos and graphics on your home computer. Create whatever design you choose and get ready to print on a normal sheet of paper to test the print. Once you’ve printed you logo, you can go ahead and print another page onto the iron-on transfer paper. Now, set your shirt up on an ironing board and iron on your transfer paper, making sure to use a piece of parchment paper between the iron, shirt and transfer paper so you don’t burn your final product.
Your t-shirt should be ready to dry once you’ve thoroughly ironed on the transfer design. Be sure not to touch or jostle your shirt as it dries, or you’ll have to start the process all over again. In the end, you should have enough uniform shirts to make everyone on the team happy.
